Student Leadership
A hallmark of an exemplary education is the development of leadership skills. Beginning as early as preschool, students are assigned weekly classroom jobs and excitedly perform the tasks they are given such as door holder, prayer leader, and weather reporter! Classroom assignments continue through fourth grade and grow in responsibility, promoting the virtues of service, perseverance, leading by example, and humility.
Students in grades 4-8 have the additional duty of leading their classmates in daily morning and afternoon prayers.
ACADEMY LEADERSHIP:
Rolling Hills Academy offers students in grades 6-8 the opportunity to run for and serve on a Student Council. Four officer positions - President, Vice President, Secretary, and Apostolic Service Coordinator - and four classroom representative positions are filled each year. These students are elected by their peers and meet weekly to discuss student needs on campus and to plan spirit and service activities.
