Pre-K3 and Pre-K4: The Journey Begins

Rolling Hills Academy welcomes young learners and helps them take their first steps along their educational journey. At Rolling Hills, young hearts are nourished in a strong family-oriented environment. Talented teachers open young minds to exploration, discovery, and a love of learning.

Our goal in Pre-Kindergarten is to teach the whole child by providing a nurturing, secure environment in which learning can take place.  In the Pre-Kindergarten program, we seek to educate the mind, the heart, and the will. We recognize that each child is made in the image and likeness of God; so our teachers focus on giving personal attention to each child by using developmentally appropriate methods.

Early character formation occurs through young students forming habits like generosity, self-control, and respect of others. Our Pre-Kindergarten programs provide structure, academic foundation, study of the Catholic faith, and leadership opportunities that build self-confidence. Strength lies in virtue as well as in academic performance.  At Rolling Hills Academy, our students are taught the value of faith, virtue and service to others, as a compliment to a strong academic curriculum.

Through one-on-one, small group and whole group activities, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of curricular experiences and discovery learning.  Our Pre-Kindergarteners also benefit from all the specialty subjects offered in our lower school:  Spanish, art, music, gym, and computer technology.  With a love for learning and Christ in our hearts, let the journey begin!
